Discipline & Punctuality

  • Students contribute to the high tone of the school through their manners and general behaviour.
  • Posture, cleanliness, silence, politeness, honesty, attention to work and respect for teachers and companions make the school a place of reverence and discipline.
  • Absolute silence must be maintained during teaching hours โ€” in the library, laboratories, computer room, assembly and corridors.
  • Respect for one's own property, the school's, and others' is the mark of a responsible student; damage must be made good.
  • Students should always speak English on the premises and maintain a high standard of conversation.
  • Items not pertaining to daily work (and not approved by the Principal) should not be brought to school.
  • The school does not accept responsibility for loss of books, money, clothes, watches, etc.
  • Writing or carving on walls and desks must be avoided.

๐Ÿ“” School Diary

  • The Student's Profile Form in the diary should be filled correctly and promptly.
  • Any change in address or telephone number must be informed to the fee office immediately.
  • Children must bring the diary to school every day โ€” it carries information between parents and teachers.
  • Parents must check the diary daily; reminders will not be sent. Please acknowledge notices with your signature.
  • Go through circulars carefully and sign to acknowledge receipt.
  • Keep a home record of homework sheets, syllabus and circulars issued by the school.

๐ŸšŒ Transport

  • Transport is available depending on the number of students from an area; otherwise parents make their own arrangements. Fees are payable in advance.
  • Students should reach the bus stop ten minutes before the stipulated time.
  • Only the authorised person should collect the child at the bus stop, else the child is brought back to school. Inform the school in advance of any changes.
  • Children using the bus in the morning must return by bus too, unless a written application is submitted.
  • One month's notice is required for any change of boarding point or to discontinue the service. After December, withdrawals are permitted only when bus fees are paid up to March.
  • Students are responsible for any damage to the bus caused by negligence.

๐Ÿ‘ช A Note for Parents

  • Please read the almanac carefully and, in your child's interest, abide by the school's rules.
  • Address all communication to the Principal, quoting your child's full name, class and section.
  • Parents bringing children or food are not allowed to go to classrooms; labelled food baskets may be left at the main entrance.
  • Date of birth, once entered, will not be changed under any circumstances.
  • Children with contagious illness may rejoin only with a medical certificate.
  • Please ensure your child attends the morning assembly, comes on every reopening day, and maintains good personal hygiene.
  • Meeting students or teachers during working hours requires the Principal's permission.
