REGISTRATION & ADMISSION PROCEDURE

  • Admissions are accepted for boys and girls of all classes starting from PG and up to Class XI. Admission is open to all, irrespective of class, creed, and community Our academic year commences in April each year with registrations being accepted from December of the preceding year. We, of course, welcome enquiries at any stage of the year.
    Registration for admission to Play Group is done for children aged 2+ years(refer to Munchkins page for more info).
    An authentic certificate of date of birth is an essential requirement for admission. Students coming from other schools and looking to join classes 1st to 12th are required to produce a Transfer Certificate and previous marksheet.
    In case of inter-state transfer, the authenticity of the same would be checked from the website of the previous school. Parents should take utmost care to tally the name and date of birth as given in the application form with the date of birth as given in the original birth certificate and/or transfer certificate. The date of birth recorded in the admission form cannot be changed later.
    Important Instructions:

  • An Application/Registration Form may be collected from school's reception desk, filled and submitted at the reception desk of Sardar Patel Public School, whereupon the student's name will be registered for admission. Parents should fill up and sign the application/Registration form and other necessary papers with due care. In case this form is filled in by guardians, then it should be stated clearly on the form.
  • Incomplete applications will be disqualified.
  • Admission may be subject to the performance of the child in School Admission Test.
  • The admission of the child shall rest on the sole discretion of the school.
  • A place in the school cannot be confirmed until all dues are cleared. For admission, the Photocopy of the birth certificate of the candidate is required to be submitted and in the case of transfer, the Transfer Certificate in original should be produced.
  • No admission will be deemed to be complete and valid till the above documents are submitted.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR REGISTRATION

    • Attested copies of the following documents should be enclosed with the filled in registration forms.
    • Birth Certificate (Photocopy at the time of registration and the original at the time of admission for verification).
    • Previous year's Marks Sheet from class II onwards.
    • Transfer Certificate (original at the time of admission from class II onwards)
    • Four recent passport sized colour photographs of the pupil.
    • Registration card issued in class IX and XI from the concerned board. 6.Certificates of co-curricular/extra curricular activities if any. (photocopies only).

ICSE ADMISSION

  • For vacancies available for classes II to IX, if notified through our website, then for such cases applications are accepted from April every year till further notice. Applications are to be addressed to the Principal only. Kindly mention the class you are interested in and your contact numbers with email address very clearly. A copy each of the birth certificate and the latest progress report of the child is to be attached with the application.
    • Incomplete applications will be disqualified.
    • The Last date for submitting the application will be displayed on website sardarpatelpublicschool.com.
    • Late applications will not be entertained.
    • Please mention your email address and contact numbers clearly. In case a vacancy occurs, the school office will contact you.

ISC ADMISSION

  • Applications are to be made only after the Preliminary results are declared and if any vacancy exists. Applications are to be addressed to the Principal, mentioning:
    • Child name
    • School studying in
    • Contact numbers & Email are essential
    • Standard

    Attachments required with the application are :
    • Copy of Birth Certificate.
    • Results of standard IX, X and Preliminary Examinations. (photocopies only)
    • Certificates of co-curricular/extra curricular activities. (photocopies only).
    • Incomplete applications will be disqualified.
    The school will contact you in case of vacancy.

UP BOARD ADMISSION

  • The school runs UP Board classes only for standard 9th to 12th. Applications for admission are to be submitted in the school office. Kindly mention the class you are interested in and the following requirements to be attached therewith.
  • Child name,School,class studying in currently,copy of Birth Certificate,results of latest progress report of standard IX, X and preliminary examinations conducted in his/her school (photocopies only) & certificates of co-curricular/extra curricular activities. (photocopies only) will be needed.Incomplete applications will be disqualified.
  • Admission may be subject to the performance of the child in school Admission Test.
  • The admission of the child shall rest on the sole discretion of the Principal.
  • Submission of student's Transfer Certificate is mandatory, as soon as possible, once the admission is granted. Please mention your email address and contact numbers clearly so that school may contact you for any further information.

ACADEMIC CURRICULUM

    SPPS believes that love for education should be developed for children in the initial years and conditions should be created for them to pursue a positive approach in life.

    TEACHING METHODOLOGY

    A unidirectional teaching method is being increasingly substituted by a multidirectional group practical method. Here the teacher becomes the group co-ordinator initiating work, nurturing students without the phobia of examinations and homework. Emphasis is on development of oral and written expression by way of interactive technology-moulded class sessions. Home assignments are not a carry-over of classwork but oriented towards honing individual talents.

    ACCREDITATION

    Sardar Patel Public School is affiliated with The Council for the ICSE/ISC Examinations, New Delhi which is widely acknowledged for the international quality of its courses and pedagogy it offers in the country and is duly recognized by the Department of Education, Government of NCT Delhi. Sardar Patel Public School follows the ICSE-ISC curriculum in Classes I to XII and uses council prescribed books only and examination patterns in various subjects. We also offer UP Board based curriculum in Classes IX-XII and follows its subjects and examination patterns as prescribed by the government.

SPORTS & PHYSICAL EDUCATION

  • "What can be learned on the ground cannot be learned in the classroom"

    At SPPS, we lay a strong emphasis on sports and physical development. The school's big playground and diverse sports facilities come handy in such times.
    Our sports curriculum is planned and designed for students to develop and enhance skills like strength, speed, endurance, agility, flexibility, control, balance etc.
    Sports today has also evolved as a form of entertainment and also offers promising careers. School organises an Annual Sports Meet 'Euphoria' both for senior and junior wing, wherin students have participated enthusiastically and displayed their physical skills through the years.
    We believe in mass participation, exposing our students to a number of sports events at intra-school, inter-school, state and national level. Every student is encouraged to join and participate in at least one school sports event . The P.E. teachers, are young and energetic with a good amount of expertise. Special part-time coaches are employed for other activities like karate, self-defence, yoga etc. Indoor games like chess, carrom, etc. continue to be the favourite of all.
    For students to know the benefits of the sports they play, they are informed about the body parts and muscle development in playing each sport along with game knowledge.
